The Role

  • Lead end-to-end procurement activity for a major programme, ensuring delivery against cost, quality, and schedule commitments.
  • Source, negotiate, and place significant international contracts, securing commercial value aligned with programme priorities.
  • Drive supplier performance across delivery, quality, and cost, while anticipating and mitigating risks.
  • Manage suppliers and complex contracts within highly regulated environments, ensuring compliance and robust performance.
  • Utilise procurement systems, such as SAP, to support effective processes and contract management.
  • Collaborate closely with senior leaders and stakeholders to achieve programme success.

What You'll Need

  • Proven experience within Supply Chain and Procurement, ideally within a highly regulated environment.
  • Professional capability, such as CIPS or equivalent, demonstrated through experience.
  • Strong negotiation skills to achieve optimal commercial and contractual outcomes.
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of detailed agreements.
  • Experience managing major contracts and suppliers.
  • Ability to leverage general procurement or contract management experience to drive value.
