Senior Java Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer with 9–10+ years of hands-on software development experience.

The ideal candidate will have strong core Java skills, excellent coding and problem-solving abilities, and experience building scalable, high-performance enterprise applications. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and related technologies.
• Write clean, efficient, reusable, and well-structured code.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and web services using Jersey and related frameworks.
• Participate in application design, technical discussions, and code reviews.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and improve application performance.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA engineers, and other development teams.
• Follow software development best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 9–10+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java, object-oriented programming, collections, multithreading, and exception handling.
• Excellent coding, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience developing RESTful web services and APIs using Jersey.
• Strong understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with enterprise application development and debugging.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Interview Process

1. L1 – Technical Screening: Initial technical assessment and discussion of Java experience.
2. L2 – Coding Assessment: Hands-on coding round through Codility.
3. L3 – Managerial Discussion: Final discussion with the client hiring manager.
