Functional Analyst PM – Customer Portal @ Remote

Role Overview

The Functional Analyst will be responsible for bridging business requirements and technical implementation for customer portal systems. This role ensures that business needs are accurately translated into functional specifications, validated through testing, and delivered in alignment with stakeholder expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Possess an overall understanding of customer portal systems, content databases, and their high-level architecture; assess business requirements and act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.

• Analyze and clarify business requirements, align solution design, and document functional specifications using standard tools such as Confluence, Jira, and MS Word, enabling the technical team to prepare technical specifications and proceed with development.

• Plan and execute testing activities for customer portal projects, including Functional Unit Testing (FUT) and Integration Testing (ITC); collaborate closely with technical leads and developers to ensure solutions function as intended and meet business expectations.

• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders and work with technical teams to track, prioritize, and resolve defects or issues.

• Attend and/or lead regular meetings with business and technical teams, and schedule additional meetings as required to support project execution.

• Provide effort estimates for Functional Analyst activities to support project planning and resourcing for change requests.

• Prepare and deliver regular status updates to GIS AGS KM domain management.

• Perform minor alignment and coordination activities as needed to support GIS AGS KM domain operations.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP experience is an added advantage but is not mandatory.

• Experience working with enterprise customer portals, internal business systems, or content management platforms is preferred.

• Familiarity with Agile project delivery, change request management, and cross-functional collaboration is an advantage.
