This role would suit an ER professional who enjoys managing a varied caseload, supporting managers through complex employee matters and contributing to the development of HR policies and processes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide employee relations advice and guidance to line managers, management and the wider HR Business Partnering team.
  • Support the management of grievances, employee concerns, disciplinary proceedings, investigations and appeals.
  • Explore informal resolution options where appropriate and prepare relevant documentation for hearings and meetings.
  • Support complex employee relations cases, including Employment Tribunal claims, alongside senior ER stakeholders.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures and internal guidance.
  • Support the delivery of employee relations training for managers and HR colleagues.
  • Partner with Legal and Data teams to manage Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs).
  • Provide guidance on performance management, organisational restructuring and absence management.

  • Identify opportunities to improve employee relations processes and support wider HR projects.
Skills & Experience
  • Approximately 3-5 years' experience in an Employee Relations advisory role.
  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment legislation and employee relations best practice.
  • Experience supporting grievances, disciplinaries, investigations and appeals.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Experience using HR systems and working with employee data and reporting.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to support change and resolve problems.
  • A degree or equivalent qualification; CIPD qualification desirable but not essential.
  • Financial services experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
Why Consider This Opportunity?
  • Work across a varied range of employee relations matters.
