Description

SAIC is seeking external talent to join the Army Research Laboratory (ARL) Information Technology (IT) Modernization program to support the full range of Enterprise IT services to ARL's research mission.

The work is to be performed at the customer site at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), MD and Adelphi, MD.

ARL is the Army's corporate laboratory, within the Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM). ARL discovers, innovates, and transitions research to provide the best technologies for our Soldiers. Some of ARL's focus areas include Biological and Biotechnology Sciences, Electromagnetic Spectrum Sciences, Energy Sciences, Humans in Complex Systems, Mechanical Sciences, Military Information Sciences, Network/Cyber/Computational Sciences, Photonics/Electronics/Quantum Sciences, Sciences of Extreme Materials, Terminal Effects, and Weapons Sciences. This position is your opportunity to utilize your skills and background as a Windows Systems Administrator and deliver support to the warfighting mission and cutting-edge R&D for the US Army.

Most positions require either Cisco experience or a CCNA certification.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

• Education and years of experience will vary depending on position
• Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
• Experience with Cisco network administration, including configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls

Clearance Requirement:

• A Secret or Top Secret Clearance will be required and will vary depending on position

Certification Requirement:

• Security + is required for most positions, CCNA is preferred

Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
