IT Business Analyst

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Business Analyst for an onsite position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Pennington, NJ, or Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.
This position is for a Business Analyst who will act as the primary interface with business partners, solution architects, and cross-organizational technology teams. As part of an Agile Scrum team, the Analyst will be responsible for understanding stakeholder needs, analyzing problems, and capturing requirements to be refined into executable specifications for the development team. The role involves analyzing current processes and systems to assess the business model and its integration with technology.
Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary interface between business partners and technology teams to elicit requirements and define strategies for technical solutions
• Analyze current processes and systems, document process flows, and identify risks and opportunities for mitigation
• Collaborate with the Product Owner to evaluate features, write effective user stories, and document business rules
• Work closely with the Development Team to refine requirements into technical specifications and review designs
• Provide support to UAT and SIT testers to clarify requirements and validate test plans
• Facilitate discussions and ensure acceptance criteria for user stories are understood and applied

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst
• Experience documenting detailed functional and technical requirements
• Proven ability to work closely with business partners to elicit requirements and document process flows
• Working knowledge of Agile tools such as JIRA
• Experience with Agile methodologies, including feature writing, story grooming, and sprint planning
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to facilitate discussions
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision

Pay range: $42.09 - $50.09 per hour
