About the Role

Reporting to the Program Manager and based in Homebush as a Dayforce Payroll Parallel Tester, this is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in a large-scale digital transformation, supporting the implementation of a new HR and Payroll system across Australia and New Zealand.

You will be responsible for ensuring payroll calculations, system configurations, and processes are accurately tested and validated prior to go-live.

Initial 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension based on project requirements.

You will;

• Execute payroll test scenarios and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Conduct parallel payroll runs by comparing legacy system pay outcomes with Dayforce results
• Identify and log defects and issues in Jira
• Validate employee and payroll data during migration activities
• Ensure compliance with Australian payroll legislation, including PAYG, Superannuation, and STP
• Review Dayforce award interpretations and Workforce Management (WFM) configurations
• Investigate discrepancies and collaborate with Payroll, HR, IT, vendors, and implementation teams to resolve issues
• Prepare test reports and communicate testing outcomes to stakeholders
• Assist with user guide development, training, and knowledge transfer to payroll teams

About you

You are an experiencedDayforce Payroll Parallel Tester or Payroll SME with hands-on experience supporting Dayforce implementations and running payroll parallel testing. With a strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation, award interpretation, and payroll processes, you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for identifying and resolving system and data issues.

You will have;

• Experience working with complex systems and platforms
• Strong testing management skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders, manage vendors, and oversee testing and quality outcomes against agreed KPIs and deliverables
• The ability to remain hands-on when required while driving testing activities to successful completion
• Strong experience preparing and communicating test summary reports and project status updates
• Proficiency in Jira and Confluence
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
• A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment
