Job Description

Path A: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Management, Actuarial Science or a related field, plus 2 years of relevant experience.

Path B: 6 years of relevant experience in data analysis, reporting, performance measurement or related analytical work.

Also required:

Hands-on experience cleaning, joining and analyzing student-level or program-level data sets.

Experience producing recurring reports for funders, regulators or leadership.

Working knowledge of FERPA or comparable data-privacy rules.

Clear written and verbal communication with non-technical staff.

Preferred qualifications

Experience in higher education, especially community colleges, student success or completion initiatives.

Prior work on grant-funded programs, including federal or foundation grant reporting.

Familiarity with CUNY ASAP, ASAP replications or similar cohort-based completion models.

Experience with evaluation designs such as comparison groups, cohort tracking and equity-gap analysis.

Experience with student information systems (Ellucian Colleague or Banner, PeopleSoft Campus Solutions) and advising/CRM tools (EAB Navigate, Salesforce Education Cloud, Starfish).

Technical skills: SQL; Excel at an advanced level; Power BI or Tableau; Python or R for analysis.

Located in or near the DC/Maryland area, able to be on site in Largo, MD as needed.
