Join a major Oracle Cloud HCM transformation supporting a large public-sector environment. This long-term program brings together experienced functional, technical, integration, data, and program-delivery professionals to design and implement a modern enterprise HCM platform.
The team is looking for senior consultants who can do more than execute assigned configuration tasks. Successful professionals will understand the broader implementation, work directly with stakeholders, challenge requirements when appropriate, recommend practical Oracle Cloud solutions, and help take the program from early-stage design through implementation and stabilization.
What's In Store For You

• Long-term engagement: 18 months to 3 year contract
• Primarily remote: Work can be performed remotely from across the United States.
• Periodic Washington, DC travel: Candidates should be comfortable traveling onsite for project kickoff, critical implementation milestones, major releases, or go-live activities.
• Project-related travel is expected to be covered.
• Opportunity to contribute to a large-scale Oracle Cloud HCM implementation from early project stages through delivery.
• Work alongside experienced enterprise consulting and Oracle implementation professionals.
• Candidates must be U.S. citizens and able to obtain the required federal suitability/security determination.
• An existing clearance is not required.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Serve as a senior functional consultant across the Oracle Cloud HCM implementation lifecycle.
• Lead requirements gathering, business-process discussions, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and stabilization activities.
• Translate complex HR requirements into scalable Oracle Cloud HCM configurations and functional solutions.
• Facilitate workshops with business, HR, technical, program, and government stakeholders.
• Advise stakeholders on Oracle Cloud capabilities, standard functionality, and practical implementation approaches.
• Challenge requirements constructively when proposed solutions introduce unnecessary complexity or conflict with platform best practices.
• Configure Oracle Cloud HCM modules and validate that solutions meet approved functional requirements.
• Partner with integration, data-conversion, reporting, security, and technical teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Develop functional specifications, process documentation, configuration workbooks, testing artifacts, and implementation documentation.
• Support SIT, UAT, defect resolution, cutover, go-live, and post-production stabilization.
• Help drive assigned workstreams from requirements through implementation and final handoff.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders while maintaining ownership of commitments, risks, decisions, and project outcomes.

Do You Bring Proven Success in Oracle Cloud HCM Functional Consulting?

• Approximately 5+ years of recent Oracle Cloud HCM / Oracle Fusion HCM functional experience is strongly preferred for senior-level consideration.
• Recent Cloud HCM experience is more important than older Oracle EBS or on-premises experience.
• Strong hands-on functional configuration experience within one or more Oracle Cloud HCM modules.
• Proven experience supporting complete Oracle Cloud implementation lifecycles from requirements and design through go-live and stabilization.
• Strong client-facing consulting experience, including requirements workshops, stakeholder communication, solution recommendations, and professional pushback when needed.
• Background with a major consulting organization, systems integrator, or independent consulting practice is highly desirable.
• Ability to explain personal ownership of configurations, decisions, testing, troubleshooting, and implementation outcomes.
• Understanding of integrations, data conversion, reporting, security, and technical dependencies from a functional perspective.
• Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting enterprise or government implementations is highly valuable.
• Oracle Cloud HCM certifications are preferred.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be willing and eligible to complete the required federal background/clearance process.
• Must be comfortable traveling periodically to Washington, DC for critical project milestones.
