Job Description

About the Company

Our client is a highly prestigious, CSSF-regulated financial institution affiliated with a prominent international fiduciary and corporate services group. Renowned for its dynamic culture, professional integrity, and commitment to excellence, the organization fosters a collaborative environment where control functions are truly valued as strategic growth drivers. Driven by strong corporate values, client-centric service, and continuous professional development, the firm offers an exceptional workplace culture where initiative is encouraged and career impact is immediate. Joining this high-performing structure means taking part in an ambitious, forward-thinking environment within the Luxembourg financial landscape.

Key Responsibilities & Impact

  • You fulfill the official Responsable du Contrôle (RC) mandate and act as the primary regulatory point of contact with the CSSF. Carrying this senior regulatory responsibility positions you as a recognized compliance leader and elevates your professional standing across the market.
  • You design, enhance, and oversee robust AML/CFT control frameworks, policies, and annual compliance monitoring plans. Driving these strategic risk-mitigation initiatives secures the institution's operations while deepening your second-line regulatory expertise.
  • You deliver independent advice, strategic risk assessments, and formal reporting directly to Senior Management and the Board of Directors. Presenting key findings at the executive level ensures direct strategic influence and high visibility with senior leadership.
  • You contribute to group-wide international initiatives by harmonizing AML/CFT risk methodologies, testing frameworks, and compliance standards across global jurisdictions. Participating in global forums broadens your scope beyond local borders and accelerates your international executive profile.

Candidate Profile

  • University degree in Law, Compliance, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Proven track record (around 5 years or more) in senior compliance and AML/CFT second-line roles within a CSSF-regulated specialized PFS, corporate service provider, or management company.
  • Deep regulatory knowledge of the Luxembourg AML/CFT framework, CSSF circulars, and European directives (AMLD/AML6).
  • Strong background in conducting independent risk assessments, designing compliance monitoring plans, and delivering strategic legal and compliance advice.
  • Strong language skills in English and French to handle regulatory interactions and cross-border group exchanges; German or Luxembourgish is an asset.
  • High autonomy, outstanding communication skills, and sound judgment to exercise independent challenge in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear perspective and ambition for continuous personal and executive leadership development.

Offer

  • An attractive compensation package with an annual base salary up to €140,000 gross, directly rewarding your senior leadership and regulatory responsibilities.
  • Professional development support including financial backing for recognized industry certifications, empowering you to sharpen your expertise and stay ahead of evolving legislation.
  • Strategic second-line mandate focused on high-level advisory and oversight rather than repetitive operational execution, allowing you to optimize your daily impact and focus on strategic goals.
  • High-level stakeholder interaction with C-suite executives and international group forums, accelerating your career trajectory toward executive compliance management.
  • A stimulating, collaborative culture that fosters independent challenge, ethics, and professional excellence in a modern setting.
