Confirmation Analyst
Location: Juno Beach, Florida (On-site)
Role Overview
We are seeking a Confirmation Analyst to join our team. This position is responsible for ensuring energy marketing functions operate in a controlled environment and within established risk management limits. The role involves daily coordination with the front office, engagement with external counterparties, and in-depth reviews of legal documents to support risk management decision-making. This position will utilize quantitative methods and tools to discern insights and enhance risk management decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily with the front office to facilitate the creation and amendment of confirmations for complex deals.
• Ensure all transactions are accurately captured in Risk systems in a timely manner, adhering to legal and regulatory requirements.
• Engage with external counterparties to legally confirm transactions and actively work to resolve disputes.
• Conduct comprehensive reviews of legal documents, including ISDAs, NAESBs, EEIs, and related collateral agreements.
• Develop and enhance the team's reporting infrastructure and data visualization capabilities.
• Collaborate with origination, risk management, trading, legal, and accounting departments to assess risks associated with potential transactions and new business initiatives.
• Conduct daily transaction exposure analysis, including troubleshooting Profit and Loss and Value at Risk movements.
• Ensure the accuracy of pricing data within the risk systems.

Required Qualifications
Education: A bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, IT, or a legal discipline is required.
Experience: A background with data is required. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of relevant experience, including proven success in confirmations management or legal contract review.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel is required.
Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in finance, accounting, or legal fields.
• Skills in SQL, Python, and Power BI.
• Experience with ETRM systems.
• A sound understanding of physical trading, derivatives, and the trade lifecycle.
• Trading experience.
