Commercial Logistics Data Support Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce is working with a client in Chesterfield, MO that is looking to add a Commercial Logistics Support Data Analyst to their team. This role is a 3+ month contract and is an excellent opportunity for entry level candidates or early-career professionals looking to gain experience in data analysis, business operations, and supply chain processes.

Summary

In this role, you'll support the movement of products around the globe by helping ensure shipping and export data is accurate, organized, and delivered on time. You'll work with business systems, analyze documentation, track key milestones, and collaborate with teams across operations, logistics, and customer support.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate export and shipping documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Track shipment milestones, documentation status, and customer approvals
• Monitor data across multiple systems and identify discrepancies
• Support reporting and data analysis related to logistics and operational performance
• Update and maintain records within business and ERP systems
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to gather required documentation
• Assist with process improvements that enhance efficiency and data quality
• Track vessel schedules, shipment dates, and logistics updates

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree preferred, especially in Business, Supply Chain, Analytics, Logistics, Information Systems, or a related field
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfortable working with data and spreadsheets
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is a plus, but not required

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
