Position title: Workday Payroll and Time & Absence Functional Configurator
location: remote for contract then will by hybrid once they go perm in Atlanta, Charlotte, Greensboro, Richmond, Raleigh, Winston-Salem, or another Truist-approved location.

Contract: 6 months to perm

Interview process: 2 video interviews to hire

Requirements:

• 8+ years of Workday experience
• Bachelor's degree required
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and Agile experience
• Comfortable as the dedicated configurator on a Scrum team

Primary Focus (Must Have):

• Workday Time Tracking & Absence Management
• Configuration of:
• Absence plans & leave programs
• Accrual schedules
• Eligibility rules
• Time entry calculations
• Work schedules
• Validations & compliance policies

Secondary Focus:

• Workday Payroll configuration
• Earnings, deductions, payroll calculations, and payroll maintenance

Additional Responsibilities:

• Product team collaboration
• Unit testing, SIT, and UAT support
• Troubleshooting and Tier 2 production support
• LOB stakeholder engagement
