Quality Assurance Test Lead

Role Summary
The Temp Quality Assurance Test Lead is responsible for overseeing testing activities across multiple project releases and support initiatives, ensuring adherence to quality standards and risk mitigation. This role involves developing and maintaining test strategies, coordinating various testing efforts, and serving as the primary communication link between business, development, and QA teams. The position requires leadership in testing processes, defect management, and release readiness.

Responsibilities

• Lead testing efforts across multiple projects, releases, and production support activities.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive test strategies, plans, schedules, and resource estimates.
• Coordinate functional, integration, end-to-end, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Facilitate defect triage meetings and drive issue resolution to meet project timelines.
• Monitor testing progress, identify quality risks, and ensure release readiness.
• Provide status updates, quality metrics, and executive reporting on testing progress.
• Ensure compliance with QA standards, methodologies, and best practices.
• Promote continuous improvement in testing processes and regression coverage.
• Serve as a liaison between business, development, and QA teams to facilitate communication.
• Support testing activities with automation, API testing, and data validation as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading QA teams and testing efforts for enterprise applications.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and release management processes.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or similar test management tools.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Enterprise application testing experience, including regression and end-to-end testing.
• Must have a strong understanding of functional and integration testing.
• Ability to coordinate multiple testing efforts simultaneously.
• Availability to work on a hybrid schedule, with time split between office and remote work.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Preferred experience with utility, billing, or Customer Information Systems (CIS); API testing; SQL testing; and supporting large-scale transformation programs.

Publishing Pay Range: $30.00 - $40.00 hourly
This position offers a hybrid schedule, with time split between the office and remote work.
