Job Description

Project Manager – Renewables

12-month minimum contract

£500/day – Outside IR35

Milton Keynes – minimum 3 days per week


RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage delivery of renewable energy projects from construction through to completion

• Provide technical and engineering support across project sites

• Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to specification

• Oversee contractors and subcontractors on site

• Carry out site inspections, quality checks and technical reviews

• Review design drawings and ensure works meet approved specifications

• Monitor project progress and provide regular reports

• Maintain accurate project, survey and as-built documentation

• Support technical problem-solving and resolve issues on site

• Liaise with design teams, clients and project stakeholders


SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven Project Management experience within renewable energy or construction

Ground-mounted solar farm experience – essential

• Engineering qualification in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or Renewable Energy Engineering

• Experience with setting out and surveying

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

• Experience using CAD and surveying equipment

• Strong understanding of renewable energy construction

• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills

• Good technical reporting and problem-solving ability

• High attention to detail


CERTIFICATIONS:

• NEBOSH / IOSH or equivalent – desirable


DESIRABLE:

• Experience delivering large-scale solar PV projects

• Experience with total stations, GPS and laser levels

• Experience working with clients and regulatory bodies
