SAP PP (Production Planning) Consultant, S/4HANA Private Cloud
Location: NY /NJ -Local or nearby candidates preferred 
Employment type: Full-time (FTE), W-2
Compensation: Up to $180,000 base, plus benefits
Role summary
We are seeking an SAP PP Consultant to design, configure, and support manufacturing planning and execution processes on SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition.
Responsibilities
Configure and support SAP PP: master data, MRP, production orders, capacity planning, and shop floor execution
Manage BOMs, routings, work centers, production versions, and the PP-PI/repetitive manufacturing modules as applicable
Configure MRP Live, planning strategies, demand management, and planned order conversion
Support production order confirmation, goods movements, variance, and WIP settlement with CO
Integrate PP with MM, SD, QM, PM, WM/EWM, and FI/CO
Gather requirements, run fit-gap, and write functional specifications for custom developments
Lead testing (unit, integration, UAT), data migration, cutover, and hypercare
Provide L2/L3 support and manage change requests per Private Cloud governance
Required qualifications
15+ years of hands-on SAP PP experience
At least 1–2 end-to-end S/4HANA implementations or migrations, ideally Private Cloud/RISE
Strong knowledge of discrete, repetitive, and/or process manufacturing
Experience with PP/DS or embedded planning, Fiori apps, and S/4HANA simplifications
Excellent communication and client-facing skills
Preferred
SAP PP or S/4HANA certification
Experience with MES integration, Advanced Planning, or IBP
Manufacturing industry background
