Training Content Developer - Mid with Security Clearance

Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Training Content Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing engaging and effective training materials for a variety of audiences, with a focus on technical and operational training.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement training content for various platforms, including classroom, online, and on-the-job training.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
• Create interactive and engaging learning experiences using a variety of media, including text, graphics, audio, and video.
• Develop and maintain training materials, including course outlines, lesson plans, handouts, and assessments.
• Conduct needs assessments to identify training gaps and develop appropriate solutions.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in training and development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Training and Development, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in training and development, preferably in a technical or operational environment.
• Proven experience in developing training content for a variety of audiences and platforms.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in authoring tools and learning management systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Education, Training and Development, or a related field.
• Experience with e-learning development tools such as Articulate, Captivate, or Lectora.
• Experience with video editing software.
• Experience with graphic design and multimedia production.

Clearance Requirements

We are a government contractor and require all employees to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. You must be a U.S. citizen and able to pass a background investigation.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to sit for extended periods, use a computer and other office equipment, and occasionally travel to client sites.
