Job Title: Network Engineer (Senior)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to support and enhance enterprise network infrastructure. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in routing and switching, along with experience in security, load balancing, or network access control technologies. This is an onsite contract position based in our San Jose office.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and support enterprise-scale network infrastructure.

Troubleshoot complex network issues related to routing, switching, and connectivity.

Manage and optimize LAN/WAN environments to ensure high availability and performance.

Support secure remote access and public cloud network connectivity.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on network design, upgrades, and migrations.

Document network configurations, procedures, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

12+ years of experience as a Network Engineer in enterprise environments.

Strong expertise in Routing & Switching (L2/L3 concepts, protocols, troubleshooting).

Hands-on experience with at least two of the following:

F5 Load Balancers

Aruba ClearPass

Cisco VPN

Experience with public cloud connectivity (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).

Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Ability to work onsite 4 days per week in San Jose, CA.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in hybrid cloud or multi-cloud networking.

Knowledge of network security best practices.

Relevant networking certifications (CCNP, CCIE, Aruba, F5) are a plus.
