Job Title: Project Manager / Implementation Manager - Applications Migration Cutover

Contract Type: Temporary

Contract Length: 6 months (with strong potential for extension)

Location: Warwick (reasonable commute required)

The Senior Project Manager - Applications Migration Cutover is responsible for leading the final and most critical phase of a large-scale application migration programme. This role combines senior project management and implementation management expertise, with accountability for planning, governing and executing complex production cutovers as applications are migrated onto new infrastructure and network environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the delivery of application migrations onto new infrastructure and network environments.
• Own the end-to-end implementation and cutover strategy for critical business applications.
• Develop and maintain integrated migration, implementation and cutover plans covering readiness, rehearsal, go-live, stabilisation and handover activities.
• Direct and coordinate all technical and business stakeholders during implementation and cutover activities.
• Establish and manage cutover governance, command and control structures, escalation routes and decision-making processes.
• Conduct readiness reviews, cutover rehearsals, go/no-go assessments and post-implementation reviews.
• Ensure robust risk, issue, dependency and change management processes are maintained throughout delivery.

Required Experience and Skills:

• Extensive experience leading large-scale application migration programmes.
• Proven track record of personally leading complex production cutovers and go-live activities.
• Significant experience managing the full cutover lifecycle including readiness, rehearsal, go-live, stabilisation, and operational handover.
• Experience delivering migrations involving applications, infrastructure, and network environments.
• Demonstrated success managing high-risk, business-critical implementations with minimal service disruption.
• Experience leading technical delivery teams, business stakeholders, and third-party suppliers during critical implementation events.
• Strong Implementation Management and Cutover Leadership experience.
• Solid understanding of Applications, Infrastructure, and Networking technologies.
• Advanced planning, governance, risk, issue, and dependency management skills.
