Full Stack Engineer

We're looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to build and support modern, high-performance web applications with a strong focus on React, Python, FastAPI, SQL, and AWS. This role offers the opportunity to work across the full stack, contribute to application modernization, and help deliver scalable solutions in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain responsive web applications using React and modern JavaScript practices.
• Create reusable front-end components and support clean, scalable application architecture.
• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs with Python and FastAPI.
• Work with relational databases such as SQL Server to design, optimize, and troubleshoot data solutions.
• Identify and resolve performance issues across the user interface, APIs, and database layers.
• Support cloud-based application development and modernization efforts in AWS environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical approaches, development standards, and delivery priorities.
• Contribute to CI/CD workflows, DevSecOps practices, testing, debugging, and code reviews.
• Support deployment, monitoring, and production issue resolution as needed.
• Continuously look for ways to improve maintainability, scalability, security, and development efficiency.

Skills

• 7+ years of full-stack software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with React, including hooks, state management, and component-based development.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience building backend applications with Python and FastAPI.
• Solid knowledge of SQL Server or other enterprise relational databases.
• Experience working in AWS cloud environments.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and DevSecOps practices.
• Ability to diagnose and improve application performance across multiple layers of the stack.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• Experience using Git and modern version control workflows.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with microservices and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to infrastructure as code and cloud automation tools.
• Experience with monitoring, observability, and performance tuning solutions.
• Knowledge of secure development practices and application security principles.
• Comfort working in a fast-moving environment with a focus on code quality and long-term maintainability.
