Role: Technical Product Owner

Location: Remote

Duration: 12+ Months

Banking experience mandatory

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Product Owner to lead product initiatives and work closely with business and technology teams within the banking domain.
The candidate will be responsible for gathering requirements, defining product features, managing the product backlog, and ensuring successful delivery of business solutions.

Responsibilities:

Gather, analyze, and prioritize business requirements.
Create and maintain product backlogs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Work with multiple technology teams to understand changes, integrations, data feeds, and system enhancements.
Act as the link between business stakeholders and development teams.
Drive product discussions and help teams make informed decisions.
Prioritize features based on business value and customer needs. Support Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and reviews.
Track dependencies, risks, and delivery progress. Ensure solutions meet business objectives and stakeholder expectations.

Requirements:

Experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or System Analyst in the banking industry.
Strong experience with Agile methodologies and product backlog management.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience creating user stories, business requirements, and functional documentation.
Good understanding of APIs, cloud technologies, databases (Oracle preferred), Kafka, and data integrations.
Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Banking domain experience is mandatory.
Knowledge of payment systems is mandatory.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
