Our client is seeking an experienced Data Product Manager to support a strategic Customer 360 initiative within a large insurance and financial services organization, Guardian Life. This role will help bridge the gap between the business definition of the customer and the technical implementation of a Customer360 data product

Requirements

Must understand ‘householding’ of customer profiles – bringing individuals into a household view; a centralized ‘brain’. (See Avantos.ai below)
Databricks and Reltio experience are a must-have
Avantos.ai experience is a nice to have
Experience with life insurance products
Experience with “lumping data together” for this sort of project
Candidates from Financial Services or Banking may be a good fit
Strong communication skills are critical

Key Responsibilities

Lead requirements gathering and definition for the Customer360 data product.
Translate business concepts, data relationships, and customer definitions into clear technical requirements.
Partner with business and technology stakeholders to establish a consistent customer model across multiple business units and systems.
Help define complex concepts such as customer householding and customer relationships.
Support the mapping and integration of customer data across disparate source systems.
Work with technical teams developing data feeds, APIs, event-based integrations, and the underlying analytics/data platform.
Connect conceptual data models and business requirements with the overall technology implementation.

Desired Experience

Strong experience as a Data Product Manager, Data Product Owner, or similar data-focused consulting leader.
Experience with Customer 360, Master Data Management (MDM), or complex customer data initiatives.
Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical/data requirements.
Experience working across multiple enterprise data sources and customer systems.
Familiarity with Reltio, Databricks, APIs, data feeds, or event-driven architectures.
