Job Title: Backend Developer

Location: Cincinnati, OH – Local Candidates Only
Duration: Long-Term Contract

Job Summary

We are looking for skilled Backend Developers to design, develop, implement, and maintain software applications. The ideal candidates should have experience in the complete software development lifecycle, application development, object-oriented programming, software testing, and system integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, code, debug, and maintain software applications.

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.

• Perform software, code, and requirements analysis to identify issues and improve application performance.

• Apply Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOA/OOD) principles in application development.

• Develop software models and perform simulations when required.

• Design and enhance graphical user interfaces (GUI).

• Conduct software testing and quality assurance to ensure application reliability.

• Perform performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting.

• Integrate applications with existing systems and third-party platforms.

• Maintain technical documentation and support existing application functionality.

• Evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.

• Ensure applications meet established coding standards and compliance requirements.

• Support application localization and globalization requirements when needed.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Experience in application development and the software development lifecycle.

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles.

• Knowledge of software testing, debugging, and quality assurance.

• Experience with application integration, maintenance, and performance optimization.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
