Job Summary

• Seeking an experienced Sr Backend Golang Developer to enhance existing services and develop new backend applications hosted in AWS serverless and multi-tier architecture environments.
• Collaborate within an Agile Scrum team to deliver high-quality solutions and business value.
• Partner with architects, technical leads, developers, and DevOps teams to design, build, test, and deploy scalable backend services.

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance existing backend services and develop new services for applications hosted in AWS serverless and multi-tier architecture frameworks deployed on EC2 instances.
• Work as part of an Agile Scrum team to deliver business value.
• Participate in design sessions to understand customer functional requirements.
• Perform requirements analysis, effort estimation, release analysis, and deployment activities.
• Collaborate with technical leads, solution architects, development teams, and DevOps teams to build prototypes leveraging existing and new architectures.
• Work with development and support teams to automate unit testing, deployment, and validation processes.
• Follow coding standards and best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Prepare low-level design documentation and maintain documentation for new and existing product features.

Required Skills

• Hands-on development experience with Golang.
• Hands-on experience working on AWS cloud platforms.
• Expertise in coding and implementing backend RESTful services.
• Experience working with AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of RDBMS and NoSQL databases, including:
  • AWS DynamoDB
  • MongoDB
  • PostgreSQL
  • Elastic Cache
• Experience with JFrog Xray, SonarQube, JUnit, or equivalent tools.
• Experience with build and deployment tools such as GitHub, XLR, or equivalent CI/CD platforms.
• Strong understanding of unit testing methodologies, release planning, and deployment processes.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Mandatory skills:
  • Java
  • Microservices

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the Automotive domain, particularly Telematics.
• Experience supporting global implementations.
• Experience with production support and product development.
• Experience with Java.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Proven experience developing scalable backend applications and services in cloud-based environments.
