Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst / Data Developer with strong experience in data analysis, requirements gathering, healthcare data, and data warehouse solutions.
The ideal candidate will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements, analyze complex data, and translate business needs into effective data and BI solutions. The candidate will also support data modernization initiatives, documentation, data profiling, and solution implementation.
Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, document, and maintain functional, technical, and business requirements.
• Translate business requirements into technical and data requirements.
• Work closely with business users, architects, developers, project managers, analysts, and vendors.
• Perform complex data analysis, data profiling, validation, and investigation.
• Support the design and implementation of Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence solutions.
• Participate in requirements and solution review sessions for data platform implementations.
• Develop detailed business and technical documentation.
• Present requirements, analysis results, and proposed solutions to technical and business stakeholders.
• Support data modernization and cloud data platform initiatives.
• Assist with data training and help end users understand data platforms and BI reports.
• Contribute to project plans, milestones, timelines, and delivery activities.
• Ensure solutions meet business requirements, quality standards, and expected timelines.
• Collaborate with technical teams to develop use cases and solution designs.
• Cross-train team members on relevant business and technical areas.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong experience as a Business Analyst / Data Analyst / Data Developer.
• Excellent SQL and SQL query-writing skills.
• Strong Data Analysis and Data Profiling experience.
• Experience with Data Warehouse / Enterprise Data Solutions.
• Strong requirements gathering and documentation experience.
• Experience translating business requirements into data, warehouse, or BI solutions.
• Experience working with healthcare data.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare data privacy/security requirements.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Experience creating and maintaining end-to-end data platform requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS Cloud Services.
• Experience with Snowflake or other cloud data platforms.
• Experience with Tableau and/or Cognos.
• Healthcare or healthcare data modernization experience.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and BI solutions.
• Strong documentation and presentation skills.
