Job Description
As a Sr. Embedded Software Test Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive test plans and test strategies for embedded software, firmware, and hardware-integrated products.
This role requires a strong understanding of system-level verification, including analyzing requirements, creating detailed test cases, defining test protocols, executing manual and automated tests, documenting results, and troubleshooting defects through root-cause analysis. You will use command-line tools, log files, physical probing, and other electrical or mechanical test methods as needed to validate product performance, ensure quality, and minimize defects.
You will also prepare clear and accurate test reports that summarize execution results, defects, trends, corrective actions, and verification outcomes for cross-functional review and regulatory submission support.
Collaboration with engineering, quality, and project teams is essential to align testing activities, communicate timelines and results, and continuously improve test methods and overall product quality.
