We're Hiring: Technical Spend Optimizer (Manager, Software Engineering)

Location: Charleston, SC (100% On-site)

Are you passionate about technology strategy, FinOps, cloud optimization, software asset management, and enterprise architecture? We are looking for an experienced Technical Spend Optimizer to partner directly with the CTO and lead enterprise-wide technology optimization initiatives.

What You'll Do

• Drive technology portfolio rationalization and standardization
• Optimize software licensing, cloud spend, and vendor relationships
• Develop TCO/ROI models and executive business cases
• Lead technology migration and modernization initiatives
• Partner with Engineering, Product, Finance, Procurement, Cloud Operations, and Architecture teams
• Build governance frameworks for technology investments
• Deliver measurable technology cost savings while improving platform consistency

Required Skills

10+ years in Software Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, Cloud Platforms, IT Strategy, or Technical Consulting and 5+ years in Architecture, Governance, FinOps, Procurement, Technology Strategy, or Leadership roles
Experience with:

• AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• FinOps & Cloud Cost Optimization
• Enterprise Architecture
• Software Asset Management
• Vendor Management & Contract Negotiation
