This position is a Full-Time, Direct Hire position that sits hybrid onsite in Birmingham, AL.

Day to Day Responsibilities:
· Build and maintain a centralized data glossary and lineage documentation, standardizing definitions of financial and investment terms across business domains
· Partner with business groups and data owners to map how data is sourced, validated, and reported, and to eliminate duplicate validation and spreadsheet-driven workarounds
· Use Power Automate and Power Query to extract data from systems without native integrations and load it into a cloud-based SQL proof-of-concept database
· Investigate data quality exceptions, run reconciliations between systems and reports, and coordinate fixes with the appropriate owners
· Maintain vendor records and data-related documentation that support governance standards
· Organize SharePoint content with proper tagging and storage practices
Position Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field
· 2–4 years of experience in data or business operations
· Exposure to SQL and advanced Excel skills, including reviewing and reconciling large Excel-based documents
· Bonus: hands-on experience with SharePoint, Power Automate, and Power Query
· Bonus: practical experience using AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT in a professional setting
· Bonus: financial services or investment industry background
