We're hiring on behalf of a leading electrical engineering firm that is crucial to advancing the energy transition in southeastern Germany. This employer specializes in medium, high, and extra-high voltage substation projects. They are dedicated to building and modernizing infrastructure, playing a vital role in achieving climate protection goals.

The Role

• Commission, test, and energize electrical components, complete renewal and new construction projects for substations, and specialized feed-in systems for renewable energies.
• Analyze and resolve faults in protection and control technology, collaborating with internal expert teams to implement improvements.
• Configure and parameterize high-tech protection and field control devices for high and medium voltage systems.
• Utilize modern testing equipment to precisely commission digital protection and control technology.
• Collaborate effectively with site and project management, planning, and assembly teams.
• Contribute to the development of energy transmission and distribution, and grid connections for industrial facilities and renewable energy parks.

What You'll Need

• Completed vocational training in electrical engineering.
• Proven expertise in protection or control technology, with hands-on experience commissioning switchgear according to standard communication protocols (IEC 60870-5-101/103/104).
• Familiarity with parameterization software like Siemens DIGSI 4/5, Schneider MICOM S1, and testing software like OMICROM TestUniverse.
• Strong teamwork, responsibility, decision-making, and communication skills, with excellent German proficiency.
• Valid driver's license Class B and willingness to travel, primarily Monday to Thursday.
