The Human Resources Manager oversees all facets of HR operations, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, compliance, and employee engagement. This role serves as a trusted partner to leadership, ensuring HR strategies support business goals while maintaining compliance with Florida and federal employment laws.

Key Responsibilities

Lead recruitment, onboarding, and retention efforts across Florida operations.
Partner with managers on employee relations, performance management, coaching, and corrective action.
Administer employee benefits, leave programs, and compensation processes.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
Manage workers' compensation, unemployment claims, and workplace investigations.
Support employee engagement, training, and professional development initiatives.
Maintain HRIS records, reporting, and personnel documentation.
Promote a positive, inclusive, and service-oriented workplace culture.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in Florida-based operations.
Strong knowledge of Florida employment practices, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO, and workplace compliance requirements.
Experience managing employee relations, benefits, and recruiting functions.
Excellent communication, organizational, and conflict-resolution skills.
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred.
