IT Research Business Systems Analyst
Healthcare IT Leaders is seeking an IT Research Business Systems Analyst. This is a hybrid role (occasional on-site days required) based on the West Coast (Pacific time zone), with non-local remote candidates also considered.

Responsibilities:

• Provide functional support and expertise for Research Administration Systems (RAS), Accounts Receivable (AR), and related integrations
• Serve as the primary bridge between end users and technical development resources
• Deliver daily end-user support and triage complex system issues using incident management and ticketing procedures
• Conduct extensive data analysis and system integrity reviews
• Gather and document operational requirements from end users and business stakeholders
• Translate requirements into functional specifications for coordination with development teams
• Execute activities within established Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) procedures covering design, documentation, fixes, enhancements, and upgrades
• Create training materials for system support and change management, and lead cross-functional teams to resolve complex business or systems issues

Requirements:

• 5+ years of functional/technical support experience with enterprise software such as PeopleSoft Grants, Contracts, Projects, Billing, and AR modules
• Strong knowledge of database table structures, functions, integration, and design components, with high proficiency in SQL and data extraction/analysis
• 5+ years of experience in a large, complex organization comparable in scope and accounting systems
• Advanced knowledge of application design, functional/technical documentation, and testing methodologies
• Demonstrated ability to gather, synthesize, and prioritize complex end-user requirements, and communicate them clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience working with in-house and third-party development teams
• Understanding of technical change management procedures for enterprise software
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
