This business places a strong emphasis on company culture, with incentives designed to recognise hard work and give employees the opportunity to achieve strong on-target earnings.
The role does not require specific industry experience as full training will be provided. However, you must drive, have experience in a field service, delivery or similar 'road-based' role, and be confident using tools and tackling practical, technical tasks.
Your hands-on experience could come from a trade, mechanics, maintenance, appliance repairs or a similar background.
The Role
As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be the hero ensuring customers get the most out of their game-changing water systems, making installations a breeze and providing top-notch maintenance on every interaction.
This includes:

- Installing or repairing systems for customers in their homes.
- Identifying and fixing issues first time to avoid return visits.
- Provide an awesome customer experience from the first call until leaving their property.
- Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards, leaving homes clean and tidy.
- Setting up and demonstrating the product for the customer, ensuring they enjoy all the amazing features.
- Positive and frequent communication with customers and the scheduling and stock teams to ensure issues are swiftly resolved.
- Going out of your way to drive positive reviews and customer recommendations.
- Following all Standard Operating Procedures and defined processes, using a handheld PDA to access your schedule and accurately record job updates.
- Record all stock consumption accurately to ensure your van stock aligns to system counts.
About YOU!
- Located within the RG or GU postcodes - please note this is essential.
- Experience in a field service, delivery or similar road-based role, working to a schedule or route and understanding that timings can vary from day to day.
- A practical, technical mind, with hands-on experience fitting, fixing or fault finding using tools or equipment. Plumbing experience isn't essential as you'll receive full product and installation training, but backgrounds could include trade, mechanics, maintenance, appliance repair etc.
- Strong customer service focus and understanding the importance of the customer experience.
- Experience working in customer's homes would be an advantage, but customer service skills gained in other settings, including retail, are also valued.
- Excellent attitude and values built around work ethic, the ambition to do well, and being rewarded for hard work.
- A team player who supports colleagues and works with others to solve problems when things don't go to plan.
- Comfortable using basic technology, such as a handheld device or app, for schedules and job updates.
- Able to work independently, juggle priorities and communicate promptly when plans change.
- A positive, proactive attitude and the ambition to do well, develop your skills and grow with the business.
- A valid driver's licence and a good driving record.
Salary, perks & incentives:

This is based on a 37.5-hour, Monday-Friday working week. As with many field-based roles, daily start and finish times can vary depending on your route, travel and the jobs allocated.
You will also benefit from a company vehicle which can be used for personal use, all work travel expenses covered, work uniform, 23 days' holiday plus Bank Holidays, and progression opportunities for the right people.
