SAP Architect

We are seeking an experienced SAP Technical Architect to evaluate, design, optimize, and support SAP technical infrastructure and enterprise architecture solutions for a long-term project in Raleigh, NC.

• Work Arrangement: Hybrid
• Role Type: Long-Term Contract

Key Responsibilities

• Architecture Review: Assess current SAP technical infrastructure and system designs to identify performance risks, gaps, and mitigation opportunities.
• System Optimization: Perform hands-on performance tuning, including memory management, CPU utilization analysis, and table sizing for SAP ERP, BI, and Portal environments.
• Infrastructure Strategy: Support SAP system upgrades, patches, migrations, and release enhancement activities while establishing enterprise architecture standards.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional infrastructure, security, and development teams to align technical solutions with organizational goals.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Public Sector Experience: Must have experience working within Government/Public Sector environments.
• SAP Architecture Expertise: Extensive experience as an SAP Technical Architect or Enterprise Architect with deep knowledge of SAP ERP and core infrastructure principles.
• Performance & Capacity Tuning: Solid track record in system optimization, memory management, and capacity planning.
• Assessment & Risk Analysis: Proven background conducting technical environment reviews and implementing scalability and security enhancements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise SAP environments.
• Familiarity with cloud-based SAP solutions and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
• Knowledge of system integration, security architecture, and disaster recovery planning.
