Telecom OSS Solution Architect – Java & Camunda

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Java + Telecom OSS + Camunda Architect with strong expertise in designing and implementing telecom OSS solutions using Java, Camunda BPM/workflow, microservices, and telecom service orchestration.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Telecom OSS/BSS architecture, service provisioning, order management, fulfillment, orchestration, and workflow automation. The candidate should be capable of working as a hands-on architect, translating business and telecom requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable Telecom OSS solutions using Java, microservices, Camunda, and API-driven architectures.
• Lead architecture and implementation of telecom service orchestration and fulfillment workflows.
• Design and develop business processes and workflows using Camunda BPM / Camunda Platform.
• Develop and maintain Java-based microservices using Java 8/11/17+, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and REST APIs.
• Integrate OSS platforms with network systems, inventory systems, order management systems, and external applications.
• Design workflows for service provisioning, activation, fulfillment, order decomposition, and lifecycle management.
• Work with telecom standards and concepts such as TM Forum, SID, eTOM, Open APIs, TMF APIs, and service/resource inventory.
• Design event-driven architectures using technologies such as Kafka, messaging systems, and asynchronous processing.
• Define integration patterns between OSS components, network elements, orchestration platforms, and downstream systems.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to Java development teams.
• Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, technical assessments, and proof-of-concepts.
• Ensure solutions meet requirements for scalability, availability, security, performance, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with product owners, telecom SMEs, business analysts, DevOps teams, and offshore/onshore development teams.
• Troubleshoot complex production and integration issues and provide architectural solutions.

Mandatory Skills

1. Java / Spring Boot

• 8+ years of Java development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17+.
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, REST APIs, Microservices.
• Strong understanding of design patterns, multithreading, exception handling, and enterprise application architecture.

2. Telecom OSS

• Strong experience in Telecom OSS architecture and applications.
• Experience with telecom service fulfillment, provisioning, activation, order management, or service orchestration.
• Good understanding of OSS/BSS integration and telecom network environments.
• Knowledge of TM Forum, eTOM, SID, and TMF Open APIs is highly preferred.

3. Camunda / BPM

• Strong hands-on experience with Camunda BPM / Camunda Platform.
• Experience designing BPMN workflows and DMN decision models.
• Experience implementing complex business processes, workflow orchestration, timers, gateways, events, and human/service tasks.
• Experience integrating Camunda with Java/Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs.
