AI Product Owner

Job Title: AI Product Owner / Lead
Location: Redmond, WA (Onsite – No Remote)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a hands-on AI Product Owner / Lead with strong experience in Generative AI, Agentic AI, LLMs, and RAG. The candidate will work directly with customers and engineering teams to identify business problems, build AI prototypes, and deliver production-ready AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and prioritize AI use cases based on business needs.
• Build and test AI prototypes using prompt engineering, low-code tools, and AI platforms.
• Manage the Azure DevOps (ADO) backlog, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with AI Architects and engineers on agent design, RAG, APIs, and model selection.
• Develop AI evaluation datasets, test cases, and quality metrics.
• Take AI solutions from prototype to production, ensuring security, compliance, and Responsible AI practices.
• Drive user adoption and measure business impact, including cost savings, time savings, and quality improvements.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and identify opportunities to scale successful solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, technical program management, solutions engineering, or consulting.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience delivering GenAI, LLM, or agentic AI solutions into production.
• Strong knowledge of prompt engineering, RAG, vector databases, agent frameworks, APIs, and AI architecture.
• Experience building AI prototypes and designing LLM evaluation metrics.
• Understanding of LLMOps, data integration, and production readiness.
• Excellent communication, customer engagement, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Copilots, multi-agent systems, and enterprise AI workflows.
• Familiarity with Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, and Microsoft Copilot.
• Knowledge of AI governance, security, compliance, telemetry, analytics, and A/B testing.
• Basic Python or similar programming skills.
• Experience in customer-embedded or Forward Deployed Engineering teams.
