Job Description

Role Summary
This position provides senior-level support in managing cybersecurity, network, and cloud operations within a federal environment. The Deputy Program Manager (DPM) role involves overseeing daily operational activities, ensuring seamless service delivery across multiple locations. The role requires leadership capabilities to assume full authority in the Program Manager’s absence while maintaining compliance with security standards and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Support overall program management activities, including planning and coordination
  • Oversee day-to-day operational delivery of network, cloud, and cybersecurity teams
  • Coordinate activities among network operations, cloud administration, and cybersecurity teams
  • Manage staffing schedules, operational readiness, and workforce requirements
  • Support incident response processes and technical escalations
  • Ensure continuity and stability of operations across multiple locations
  • Monitor operational performance metrics and service delivery indicators
  • Actively support and improve security posture and compliance initiatives
  • Represent the Program Manager in their absence to maintain ongoing operations
  • Collaborate with technical teams to resolve escalated issues and improve processes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of cybersecurity management experience, specifically in federal or government environments
  • CISSP Certification is required
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances
  • Strong knowledge of security operations center (SOC) and network operations center (NOC) procedures
  • Experience with cloud operations and administration
  • Proven ability to manage incident response and cyber operations
  • Experience in workforce management and staffing oversight in 24/7 operational environments
  • Excellent leadership and technical escalation management skills
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, high-stakes environments

Publishing Pay Range: $165,000.00 - $185,000.00 annually

This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
