Job Description

Title: SAP FICO Analyst
Location: St Boston MA(Remote)
Duration: Long term contract
Must have
  • Need a strong SAP FICO Analyst
  • Must have Public Cloud experience.
  • Must have Life Sciences or Pharma
  • Strong SAP functional knowledge, especially in FICO and Materials Management/Purchasing.
  • Anybody who has SAP automative testing (i.e. work soft, SAP tools, Tricentis) would be very helpful
JOB DESCRIPTION –
Technology Strategy & Governance
  • Define and manage technology standards that align with overall IT goals and business strategy.
  • Strong SAP functional knowledge, especially in FICO and Materials Management/Purchasing.
  • Develop and maintain technology roadmaps supporting both short‑ and long‑term objectives.
  • Participate in and lead functional forums to drive alignment and knowledge sharing across teams.
  • Provide strategic and technical leadership for initiatives focused on continuous improvement.
  • Project & Vendor Management
  • Plan, organize, and direct operational improvement projects, including capital project evaluation and execution.
  • Provide technical input for vendor selection and manage relationships with managed services and hosting partners.
  • Oversee external consultant contracts and budgets to ensure value and alignment with business needs.
  • SAP Landscape & Technical Support
  • Develop long‑term plans for SAP systems, including upgrades, facility improvements, and troubleshooting processes.
  • Ensure integrity and functional consistency of the SAP landscape while coordinating with AMS, Ironwood, and hosting partners.
  • Troubleshoot SAP process issues to reduce downtime and maintenance costs.
  • Assist business departments in effective SAP usage and provide clear, actionable recommendations.
  • SOX, Compliance & Documentation
  • Support ITSOX compliance activities for a public‑company environment, working directly with auditors.
  • Document processes, configuration changes, and proposals with clarity and structure.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance procedures across SAP‑related workflows.
  • Business Support & Testing
  • Troubleshoot user issues and provide hands‑on support without requiring development work.
  • Work with business users to gather requirements, ask relevant questions, and understand testing impacts across the SAP landscape.
  • Manage AMS vendor performance and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Required Skills & Experience
  • Strong SAP functional knowledge, especially in FICO and Materials Management/Purchasing.
  • Experience with Public Cloud environments and hands‑on problem solving.
  • US SOX and ITexperience in a public‑company setting.
  • Ability to influence across IT and business teams and resolve conflicts to reach shared goals.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills, including senior‑level communication.
  • Proven leadership and team‑building abilities, including mentoring and coaching.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with a results‑oriented mindset.
