Job Description

Our client, a leading organization in the finance and accounting sector, is seeking a dedicated Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be an integral part of the Finance Department supporting the Accounts Receivable team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities, which will enable you to thrive within the organization.

Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist

Location: Germantown, WI

Pay Range: $28 to start

Shift: regular business hours with Monday and Friday remote after training

What's the Job?

  • Determine customer credit status and facilitate new customer setup.
  • Prepare and distribute sales invoices on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Analyze accounts receivable metrics and assist with cash receipt applications.
  • Review customer accounts, credit history, and sales tax exemption certificates for compliance.
  • Reconcile transaction reports with bank totals and prepare monthly cash reconciliations.

What's Needed?

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in an accounting-related role.
  • P21 or Business Central proffered 
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or experience may be considered.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve issues effectively.
