Senior Java Developer Microservices

Experience: 7+

Location : Rutherford NJ & Dallas TX or Toronto Ontario

Full Time

Interview rounds:

1st round - Internal Coding Round

2 nd round - Codelity coding round as requested by client - decision making round

3 rd round - Quick discussion and offer release

Role Overview: We are looking for Senior Java Developers to build secure, scalable and high-performing backend applications for a banking client. Candidates should be hands-on developers with strong coding skills and experience working on enterprise-scale microservices.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain Java/Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs.
Implement business logic using clean code, OOP principles and appropriate design patterns.
Work with SQL databases, messaging systems and distributed application components.
Develop unit and integration tests and participate in peer code reviews.
Troubleshoot application, performance and production issues and provide root-cause analysis.
Collaborate with architects, frontend developers, QA and business teams throughout the SDLC.

Required Skills

7+ years of strong hands-on Java development experience.
Strong Java 8/11/17+ and Spring Boot experience.
Hands-on Microservices and REST API development.
Strong understanding of OOP, Design Patterns, Collections and exception handling.
Good SQL/database knowledge and experience with unit testing.
Strong coding, debugging and problem-solving skills.
Banking / Financial Services experience is preferred.

Good to Have: Python, GenAI, ML and Google ADK.
