Job description

Title: Enterprise Integration Architect

Location: Remote

Duration: 06 Months Contract

Note: This is a W2 only role — C2C, C2H will not be considered

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Define and maintain the enterprise integration target state, standards, and roadmap.
  • Establish guidance for application programming interface (API), event-driven, and batch integration patterns across cloud and on-premises systems.
  • Review project and solution designs for alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Partner with architects across Data and Artificial Intelligence (AI), SAP, Electric, Gas, Customer Experience, Infrastructure, and Cybersecurity to address cross-domain integration needs.
  • Account for integration points with operational technology systems supporting Electric and Gas environments that are separated from the primary corporate network.
  • Contribute to enterprise initiatives, including data governance, Internet of Things (IoT) grid mapping, and AI.
  • Document architecture decisions and communicate direction clearly to technical and business leaders.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • Senior-level enterprise architecture experience with a strong focus on integration.
  • Working knowledge of The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF).
  • Experience with integration platforms and API management in a multi-cloud environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and teams without direct authority.
  • Clear, confident communication with technical and executive leadership.
  • Ability to work Central Time business hours.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in utilities or another asset-heavy, regulated industry is strongly preferred.

  • Event-driven architecture and messaging technologies
  • Batch integration and data movement patterns
  • Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • On-premises enterprise systems and operational technology integrations
  • SAP and enterprise data platforms
  • Architecture documentation and governance tools
