Senior Business Analyst - Snowflake & Power BI

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst (BA III) with strong expertise in business requirements gathering, report development, data analysis, Snowflake, and Microsoft Power BI. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with business stakeholders and technical teams to define reporting requirements, design business solutions, facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT), and support system implementations. Experience in the Oil & Gas industry, particularly with regulatory or government systems, is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs, business processes, and operational challenges.
• Develop detailed business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, workflows, and reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with developers, database teams, and reporting specialists to design technical solutions.
• Support reporting solutions using Snowflake and Power BI.
• Analyze data requirements, report specifications, and data quality issues.
• Facilitate requirements workshops, stakeholder meetings, and solution reviews.
• Participate in the design, execution, and coordination of User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Develop test scenarios, validate business requirements, and coordinate defect resolution.
• Support implementation activities, user training, documentation, and post-deployment validation.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to business and technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of business analysis experience with strong interpersonal, analytical, collaboration, and written/verbal communication skills.
• 8+ years of requirements gathering, business analysis, and report creation experience.
• 8+ years of facilitating business requirements analysis and working with business stakeholders to design technical solutions.
• 5+ years of experience supporting UAT, user training, and system implementation activities.
• 2+ years of experience with both Snowflake and Microsoft Power BI.
• Strong ability to translate business reporting requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Experience working with cross-functional business and IT teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Knowledge of oil and gas regulatory processes, reporting, compliance, or operational systems.
• Experience supporting government agencies or public-sector technology projects.
• Familiarity with reporting environments, data warehouses, data validation, and business intelligence solutions.

Ideal Candidate: A seasoned Business Analyst with 8+ years of experience who has worked on enterprise reporting or business intelligence initiatives, possesses practical Snowflake and Power BI experience, and can independently manage requirements gathering, stakeholder coordination, UAT, and implementation support.
