SEN Teacher

SEN Teacher | Lancaster, United Kingdom | Hybrid | £28 - £35 per hour

The Role

• Provide in-person, remote, and hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science to students with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Support pupils from KS1 to KS5, plan and deliver flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Assess student progress and provide regular feedback.
• Work with referred students from local authorities and schools.
• Contribute to raising the standard of education for vulnerable young people.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
• 2+ years of teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD.
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Enhanced DBS check and professional references.
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and creating a safe learning environment.
• Right to work in the UK.
