About the Role

At Glebedale School, we know that every student has the potential to succeed when given the right support. We are looking for a passionate and resilient Reintegration Teacher to join our dedicated team and lead our Bridge Provision, supporting KS3 and KS4 students with SEMH and SEND needs as they transition back into full-time education.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a lasting difference to the lives of young people who have experienced barriers to learning. You'll work closely with students, families, therapists, school leaders and external professionals to create personalised reintegration pathways that build confidence, develop resilience and help students achieve positive outcomes both academically and personally.

If you're committed to inclusive education and believe every student deserves a second chance to thrive, we'd love to hear from you.

What you will be doing

  • Deliver engaging, personalised teaching and mentoring to students with SEMH and SEND needs.
  • Design and implement bespoke reintegration plans tailored to individual strengths, needs and aspirations.
  • Build positive relationships with students and families to support engagement, confidence and wellbeing.
  • Work collaboratively with clinical teams, school leaders and external agencies to ensure successful transitions into mainstream provision.
  • Monitor progress, evaluate outcomes and provide targeted interventions where needed.
  • Promote attendance, independence, emotional resilience and positive behaviour.
  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding, student welfare and inclusion.

Who we are looking for

  • Holds QTS, QTLS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Has at least two years' experience working with students with SEMH and/or SEND needs.
  • Is passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to education and achieve their potential.
  • Has excellent communication, mentoring and relationship-building skills.
  • Can remain calm, adaptable and solution-focused in challenging situations.
  • Works effectively with families, colleagues and external professionals.
  • Holds a full UK driving licence.
