The Team

Our Benalla manufacturing site is located in regional Victoria, 2.5 hours north of Melbourne's CBD. This plant plays a crucial role in our operations, providing energy and automation digital solutions for efficiency and sustainability, primarily Transformers, Kiosks and Switchgear. The Benalla plant is a testament to our commitment to local manufacturing and innovation, contributing significantly to the regional economy and offering numerous job opportunities.

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Customer Engineer to join our team in Benalla, Victoria. This permanent position will see you playing a pivotal role in leading engineered to order projects that support the production of Transformers, Kiosks, and Switchgear. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage diverse engineered-to-order projects in support of our Benalla manufacturing operations
  • Monitor change requests, design updates and project tracking as you proactively monitor schedules for potential risks or other factors which may impact delivery
  • Focus on customer solutions as you balance quality, cost and adherence to other internal processes across various technical projects
  • Collaborate with varied cross functional teams and other related stakeholder groups to ensure project success including engineering, production, supply chain and various technical team members
  • Participate in project reviews, support customer site visits and action any other administrative/ad hoc tasks as you contribute to our ongoing growth and success
  • Drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with safety, quality and other environmental standards throughout the project lifecycle
About You
  • Tertiary qualifications - ideally Electrical or Project Management
  • Strong proven project management capabilities and skilled in delivering technical solutions
  • Previous experience in the use of SAP and other related digital tools
  • Proven ability to partner with varied stakeholder groups and collaborate to achieve outcomes
  • Those with previous experience in a similar manufacturing/production environment will be viewed favourably
