Technical Business Systems Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce's client in Juno Beach, FL is seeking a Technical Business Systems Analyst to support enterprise initiatives by partnering with business and technology teams to gather requirements, analyze data and system integrations, and deliver scalable solutions. This role serves as a key liaison between stakeholders and development teams, ensuring business needs are translated into clear, actionable technical requirements. The ideal candidate combines strong business analysis skills with hands-on experience working with APIs, data analysis, system integrations, SQL, and Agile delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements
• Facilitate requirements workshops and stakeholder discussions
• Create user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional specifications
• Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process and system improvements
• Analyze APIs, JSON payloads, system integrations, and data flows to support solution design and troubleshooting
• Develop and execute SQL queries for data validation, analysis, and issue resolution
• Collaborate with developers, testers, and product owners to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect management, and production readiness activities
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
• Assist with backlog prioritization and requirement clarification throughout the software development lifecycle
• Conduct impact assessments and support change management activities related to system enhancements
• Document business processes, workflows, and system interactions

REQUIREMENTS:

• 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or Technical Business Analyst
• Experience gathering and documenting business and technical requirements
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices
• Experience creating user stories, process maps, and acceptance criteria
• Hands-on experience working with APIs, REST services, and JSON payloads
• Strong SQL skills for querying, validating, and troubleshooting data
• Experience analyzing system integrations and end-to-end data flows
• Ability to collaborate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Tax, Finance, Compliance, or related enterprise business functions
• Knowledge of document management platforms and metadata management concepts
• Experience with SharePoint administration and governance
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile management tools
• Experience with Power BI or other reporting and analytics platforms
• Familiarity with cloud-based enterprise environments and integrated business applications

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
