The IT Consultant 1 (ITC1) will be responsible for advising enterprise clients on leveraging information technology processes,

systems, and techniques to solve complex business problems and achieve strategic organizational objectives. Working within an

IT Department, the ITC1 analyzes, solves, and optimizes systems to ensure seamless operational efficiency. This role bridges

client business needs and technical solutions, delivering objective evaluation of technology trends, cost-benefit trade-offs, and

system implementation risks.

ExperExperience

·        Client Advisory & Requirements Definition

·        Define comprehensive technical requirements and recommend tailored IT solutions.

·        Generate, identify, and qualify methods of incorporating modern technology with standard industry practices.

·        Serve as an expert advisor on industry alternatives, options, and perils, presenting data-driven analysis of advantages versus disadvantages for business procedures.

·        Technical Strategy, Risk & Cost Analysis:

Study technical trends and evaluate how acquired technical intelligence can be applied to upgrade and modernize client systems.

Advise clients on solution options, implementation risks, cost vs. benefit analysis, priorities, and cross-system process impacts.

Consult with program and project management teams to architect appropriate technical solutions aligned with client strategic goals.

·        The ITC1 must possess a broad exposure and hands-on background across a wide range of enterprise technology areas, enabling sound evaluation of client architectures:

Enterprise Architecture & Systems Analysis: Ability to evaluate legacy and modern system architectures, cloud/on-prem integration points, and enterprise workflows.

Business Process Modeling: Skill in translating complex business processes into actionable technical solutions, gap analyses, and feasibility studies.

·        STRATEGIC ADVISORY & SOLUTION FRAMEWORK

The ITC1 utilizes a structured evaluation model to ensure client technology recommendations are balanced, cost-effective, and fully aligned with organizational priorities:

Requirement Analysis: Define functional/non-functional requirements with client leads; map business goals to standard industry practices.

Industry Trend Analysis: Evaluate emerging technical trends; determine feasibility and impact of system upgrades and modernization.

Trade-Off & Risk Mapping: Synthesize technology alternatives, outlining specific risks, operational perils, and technical tradeoffs.

MandMandatory RequRequirements/Skills

·        Relevant Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in an IT Department or IT consulting firm.

·        Technology Exposure: Demonstrated broad exposure and background across a range of enterprise technology areas

·        (infrastructure, software, security, data).

·        Consulting Skills: Proven ability to engage with client stakeholders, define requirements, and deliver technical option appraisals.

·        Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong ability to articulate technical risks and

·        financial costs to non-technical leaders.

Desir RequRequirements/Skills

·        Direct experience in external management or IT consulting engagements across multi-disciplinary client environments.

·        Hands-on experience supporting IT security audits, governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) frameworks.

·        Exposure to large-scale public sector, regulated enterprise systems, or organizational digital transformation projects.

EducDuration

Preferred 4-year college degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
