Company Description Healthstar Physicians Family Practice is an osteopathic medicine facility in Newport, Tennessee, providing comprehensive primary and preventive care for individuals and families. The practice offers a wide range of services, including urgent care, acute sick visits, chronic pain and disease management, and weight loss management. Patients also have access to routine and Medicare physicals, skin procedures and excisions, toenail removals, and joint injections.

Role Description The Finance Manager (Remote) is a full-time role responsible for overseeing the financial health and operations of Healthstar Physicians Family Practice. Day-to-day tasks include budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring financial performance, as well as preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

The individual will manage accounts payable and receivable, ensure accurate general ledger entries, and support cash flow management. The Finance Manager will also help maintain compliance with healthcare and financial regulations, coordinate with external auditors or consultants as needed, and provide financial insights to leadership for strategic decision-making. Collaboration with clinical and administrative teams to optimize financial processes and support practice growth will be an important part of this remote position.

QualificationsDemonstrated experience in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger management, and month-end closing processes. Ability to analyze financial data, interpret trends, and present clear recommendations to leadership. Experience with financial software and spreadsheet tools (e.g., accounting systems, Excel, or similar programs).Familiarity with healthcare or medical practice financial operations, billing, and regulatory considerations is beneficial.

Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities remotely. Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with clinical and administrative teams.
