Norwich | Office-Based | Up to £40,000 If you’re a Design Engineer who wants to work on real engineering projects, not just drawings handed down from elsewhere, this is worth a look. This role sits within an established engineering business delivering equipment and solutions into the offshore and energy sectors. The work covers both topside and subsea applications, with a strong focus on project delivery and practical engineering. The role You’ll be involved across the full design lifecycle, from early concept through to detailed design, analysis and final documentation. Typical work includes:

• Developing design concepts and progressing into detailed solutions
• Producing 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings
• Carrying out design calculations and supporting analysis (FEA where required)
• Preparing technical documentation and design packs
• Supporting design reviews and working with wider engineering teams
• Delivering design work in line with project timelines This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment, where engineers are expected to take ownership of their work. What they’re looking for
• Design Engineer with relevant industry experience
• Strong CAD capability (SolidWorks, Inventor or similar)
• Exposure to design calculations and engineering analysis
• Experience working within a project-based environment
• Ability to manage your own workload and deliver to deadlines Experience in offshore, subsea, marine or heavy engineering environments would be beneficial, but not essential. What’s on offer
