Commercial Finance Analyst

About the Company & Role:

You will join a high-growth Retail business that is a leader in its market and widely recognised as an employer of choice within Australia's corporate landscape. Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, this role will see you partnering closely with senior and state-based stakeholders to support key commercial decisions. Key responsibilities include:

• Partnering with key commercial stakeholders across the business
• Delivering financial analysis and insights to support decision-making
• Driving financial accountability aligned to budget and strategic objectives
• Monitoring and analysing CAPEX and OPEX, including risk identification
• Supporting initiatives aligned to sustainable and responsible business outcomes
• Identifying opportunities to improve performance, innovation, and benchmarking
• Managing budgeting and forecasting processes, providing meaningful insights
• Analysing large datasets to inform project outcomes and business strategy

About You:

• CA/CPA qualified with experience in a similar commercial finance role
• 4-5 years' experience within FMCG or retail in a commercial finance capacity
• Experience operating in a large, matrix-style organisation (preferred)
• Naturally curious with a proactive, forward-thinking approach
• Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret complex data
• Confident communicator, able to present insights to senior stakeholders
