Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to help build our technical team from the ground up at a mission-driven company advancing medical education for healthcare professionals worldwide. We're looking for a senior iOS engineer with strong Kotlin skills to own our mobile apps end to end, from development through release.

You'll be the primary owner of both platforms, with a dedicated secondary engineer you'll help train to build real, hands-on coverage. We're looking for a generous mentor and a genuine team player — someone who enjoys teaching others and building shared ownership rather than working in isolation.


Core Tools & Stack: Swift, Kotlin, Bitrise, AWS (S3, CloudFront), Firebase, Firestore

Qualifications:

  • Senior-level iOS (Swift) experience with strong working knowledge of Kotlin
  • Experience owning app releases start to finish, including signing and store submission
  • AWS experience with S3 and CloudFront for media delivery
  • Experience with Firebase, Firestore, and Bitrise release pipelines
  • Strong experience using AI coding assistants across multiple languages
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to teach and mentor other engineers
  • A genuine team player who communicates openly, collaborates generously, and helps build a supportive, culture-first environment for the people around them

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own releases, signing, and the full release pipeline for both mobile apps
  • Build and maintain the media and release pipeline, from Bitrise to the app stores
  • Train a secondary engineer to build real, demonstrated mobile coverage
  • Use AI-assisted development to work efficiently across two languages and platforms
  • Reduce single-owner risk by documenting and sharing platform knowledge
  • Show up as a collaborative, culture-first team member as we build our technical organization from the ground up
